You are Here: group show at The Kitchen Gallery. 27 April - 3rd June 2007
The Kitchen Gallery is situated in the Walled Garden of Norton Priory Museum & Gardens, Tudor Road, Manor Park, Runcorn, Cheshire, WA7 1SX.
I exhibited three new paintings of the 'Places we Love' series in this group show, alongside two paintings from the 'Unearthed' series. All the artists involved gave a talk about their work.
Knowsley Council's Arts & Museum service invited me to exhibit a solo show of my work. Showing 26th February 2007 until 13th May 2007 at Kirkby Gallery, Kirkby Library, Newtown Gardens, Kirkby, Merseyside.
The exhibition included several new paintings based on landscape and seascape, the Dreaming of Wildflowers series of oils and the painting Deep Forest which followed, alongside a series of recent work in fresco.
In showing the frescos alongside works in oils, the exhibition allows for an understanding of the transition I have made between materials - from oil on canvas to fresco painting and back to oil again - how the processes differ and marks translate.

Collective Phenomena
I have been making work aside from my main practice, painting in collaboration with Fanchon Frohlich, a painter based in Liverpool, as part of her collective phenomena project. This involves us painting together on the same canvas in an improvised way, alongside improvised music.
